The question that I promised to answer my dear friend raghava is ‘the blogging culture is on the decline??’

Well then let’s see what the papers have to say;

The times reads: ‘The season of blogging peaked in the month of October last year with a record of 2 million blogs being registered daily’ but it quickly adds that most of them disappear into the oblivion as quickly as they appear.

People generally start a blog because they feel they cannot shout loud enough for being heard even on the other side of the globe and the best way to say and express themselves to the world around them is open a blogging site and vent it into the ocean.

The question that has to be asked here is how long do they sustain this enthusiasm to keep expressing themselves to the people around??? The answer is most of them are out of words and thoughts after a certain period of time and most of them get preoccupied in their own work and hardly find time to express themselves through this medium.

Hey sorry guys ooopppps i am sorry. It has been quite a while since I have blogged” as said by Lindsay Lohan in her blog, her first blog since Oct, 2003. And this beauty adds ‘do watch “Freaky Friday” if you find time’ just an indication as to how people resort to use this medium for various other obvious reasons.

The other aspect that has always been in the line of fire is ‘do the active and famous bloggers still express their views in an unbiased manner and with no underlying intentions?’ the answer might be difficult one to face as there have been instances in the past, those that I cannot mention for obvious reasons, most of the times the controversial and most sought after part is omitted and these people try to avoid any kind of flak. Does such kind of things serve the actual purpose of a having a blog, as many people are actually looking upto the views of this selected few. The reason for this might be the unnecessary publicity by the so called free press. I am almost tempted to divert myself onto the issue of Free Press but I vow to resist the temptation, but it is definitely in the pipe line.

This time around::

when one is in a position that i am presently...."thats all alone in a big jungle like campus"..dubbed as the incubator of the best technical talent of India, what can i do other than to file a post to vent my frustration as Tom Hanks in Cast Away (poor guy did not have PC as well)....of course i have not grown that much hair.....

Let me guess what can a day be like when you are all alone in a place like this..your day starts at 6 am ( generally when you are expected to wake up for tutionearly in the morning, you feel like sleeping and you feel waking you up in the morning and the harassing by tution teachers should be included under some clauses of child labour..but when you have all the time on earth to get up when ever you want you get up by 6am sharp).

From here on starts the process of killing time, you have your bath, daily!!! which is of course not expected of you, but you do it just to kill time. you pray god!!!!!!!!(oh! gosh!!) but you cant help it, killing time is the task..you have your breakfast ( which we genrally miss) and then start walking in the jungle...only to find yourself in a jungle of books!!LIBRARY..then starts struggle..but the comforting thing is aleast you do it in a airconditioned room..result: you find yourself sleeping!!!

You slowly pick yourself to drag yourself back to have a good lunch (what on earth did you do to feel terribly hungry???) then the above paragraph is repeated...slowly you reach back by the time it darkens and have dinner..(have done nothing other than eating at regular intervals..) cutting down a date in the calender and having a deep look the days ahead!!!!

But the only thing that worries me is why the hell on earth does a man become thin after such a vacation????(eg.ME)

The reason why one has to post a piece of his mind??? this is the question that is sure to flash in one's mind at the onset... the answer that i found in the last two days in my life is.....when a person has been through some trauma something like sem grades.. girl frnd saying this is enough...dad saying no more money this sem...a regect from a univ.. what can a poor thing do other than sharing in an obscure manner! ofcourse thats the way we like it!!!!!

ofcourse one might say there is a better way to do it in a community like orkut where people are exposed in a world full frustrated beings...the thing bamboozles one who joins orkut is the numbers.." You are connected to 15,071,397 people through 87 friends" thats a a veeeery big number to deal with in your entire life span.

seeing the above numbers my mind could only feel pity for these beings who manage all the crap that some of us write..soory to say crap it should be scrap... the vast data that is being floated on net. well i should not worry about that being a civil engg. probably i should mind how the hell could leaning tower of pisa is still leaning without falling???

well for me there are a lot of things to worry about right now.i promise i will be back...hopefully with better stuff.
