The question that I promised to answer my dear friend raghava is ‘the blogging culture is on the decline??’

Well then let’s see what the papers have to say;

The times reads: ‘The season of blogging peaked in the month of October last year with a record of 2 million blogs being registered daily’ but it quickly adds that most of them disappear into the oblivion as quickly as they appear.

People generally start a blog because they feel they cannot shout loud enough for being heard even on the other side of the globe and the best way to say and express themselves to the world around them is open a blogging site and vent it into the ocean.

The question that has to be asked here is how long do they sustain this enthusiasm to keep expressing themselves to the people around??? The answer is most of them are out of words and thoughts after a certain period of time and most of them get preoccupied in their own work and hardly find time to express themselves through this medium.

Hey sorry guys ooopppps i am sorry. It has been quite a while since I have blogged” as said by Lindsay Lohan in her blog, her first blog since Oct, 2003. And this beauty adds ‘do watch “Freaky Friday” if you find time’ just an indication as to how people resort to use this medium for various other obvious reasons.

The other aspect that has always been in the line of fire is ‘do the active and famous bloggers still express their views in an unbiased manner and with no underlying intentions?’ the answer might be difficult one to face as there have been instances in the past, those that I cannot mention for obvious reasons, most of the times the controversial and most sought after part is omitted and these people try to avoid any kind of flak. Does such kind of things serve the actual purpose of a having a blog, as many people are actually looking upto the views of this selected few. The reason for this might be the unnecessary publicity by the so called free press. I am almost tempted to divert myself onto the issue of Free Press but I vow to resist the temptation, but it is definitely in the pipe line.

To be continued…………
